If I don’t help my kids in school, they’ll never make it.

Really? Helicopter parents are those moms and dads who are always hovering around their kids, waiting to intervene the moment they make a mistake. And when they do, these parents try to fix it and make it better. One Parent Minute friend wrote, “How do I help my kids feel less stressed? Choose their educational plan and career when they’re 12? Take regular or honors classes? Dual-enroll, AP classes, early college, or take college classes through high school? How about vocational training, community college, public college, or private college? Oh, there’s SO much to figure out.” We need to LET OUR KIDS BE KIDS. They have their whole lives to be adults. And—oh, yeah—we need to get out of the way because our plans may not be God’s plans.
